Please see these two articles which are only two among many that show the poison of Round Up I can
send you many more... but why not simply recognize how bad this substance is for people, the aina and
the oceans it spills into and STOP using it? There are better answers...
I am also including a photo of the rash that I get every time I am exposed to Round Up when it is sprayed
on the roadside and I have to drive through the area. This rash lasted a month and a half. I had blood
work done after this siege and was told that my thyroid had shut down. You will note that there was a lot
of rash over that part of my body.
I beg you to stop sending our money to Monsanto and start using local workers to weed whack and make
Papayas and other produce that has gone bad into vinegar that can kill weeds safely.
I am a Doctor of Chiropractic, so my knowledge of the poisonous quality of this substance comes from the
many research articles I have read about it.
Thank you for reading and considering my testimony. Please call me if you want further information.

The most widely used herbicide in the world contains compounds more toxic than declared - new
research shows
CRIIGEN PRESS RELEASE
Caen. France.. Feb. 21st. 2013
In a new research(1) published in the highly ranked scientific journal Toxicology, Robin Mesnage. Benoit
Berney and Professor Gilles -Eric Seralim, from the University of Caen, France, have proven (from a study of
nine Roundup -like rerbicides) that the most toxic compound is not glyphosate, which is the substance the most
assessed by regulatory authoritiesbut a compound that is not always listed on the label, called POE -15.
Modern methods were applied at the cellular level (on three human cell lines), and mass spectrometry (studies
on the nature of molecules). This allowed the researchers to Identify and analyse the effects of these
compounds.
Context Glyphosate is supposed to be the 'active ingredient" of Roundupthe most widely used herbicide in
the world, and it is present in a large group of Roundup -like herbicides. It has been safety tested on mammals
for the purposes of regulatory risk assessment. But the commercial formulations of these pesticides as they are
sold and used contain added ingredients (adjuvants). These are often classified confidential and described as
"inerts However, they help to stabilize the chemical compound glyphosate and help it to penetrate plants, in
the manner of corrosive detergents. The formulated herbicides (including Roundup) can affect all living cells,
especially human cells. This danger is overlooked because glyphosate and Roundup are treated as the same
by industry and regulators in long-term studies. The supposed non -toxicity of glyphosate serves as a basis for
the commercial release of Roundup. The health and environmental agencies and pesticide companies assess
the long-term effects on mammals of glyphosate alone, and not the full formulation. The details of this
regulatory assessment are jealously kept confidential by companies like Monsanto and health and
environmental agencies.
Conclusion and consequences. This study demonstrates that all the glyphosate based herbicides tested are
more toxic than glyphosate aloneand explains why. Thus their regulatory assessments and the maximum
residue levels authorized in the environment, food, and feed, are erroneous. A drink (such as tap water
contaminated by Roundup residues) or a food made with a Roundup tolerant GMO (like a transgenic soya or
corn) were already demonstrated as toxic in the recent rat feeding study (2) from Prof. Siaralini team. The
researchers have also published responses to critics of the study (3). This new research explains and confirms
the scientific results of the rat feeding study -
Overall, it is a great matter of concern for public health- First, all authorizations of Roundup -type herbicides
have to be questioned urgently. Secondthe regulatory assessment rules have to be fully revised. They should
be analyzed In a transparent and contradictory manner by the scientific community. Agencies that give opinions
to government authorities. in common with the pesticide companies generally conclude safety. The agencies'
opinions are wrong because they are made on the basis of lax assessments and much of the industry data is
kept confidentialmeaning that a full and transparent assessment cannot be carried out. These assessments
are therefore neither neutral nor Independent They should as a first step make pubbc on the Internet all the
data that underpin the commercial release and positive opinions on the use of Roundup and similar products.
The industry toxicological data must be legally made public.
Adjuvants of the POE -15 family (polyethoxylated tallowarnme) have now been revealed as actively toxic to
human cellsand must be regulated as such The complete formulations must be tested in long-term toxicity
studies and the results taken into account in regulatory assessments. The regulatory authorisation process for
pesticides released into the environment and sold in stores must urgently be revised. Moreover, since the toxic
confidential adjuvants are in general use in pesticide formulations, we fear according to these discoveries that
the toxicity of all pesticides has been very significantly underestimated.

tolerant genetically modified maize and to a Roundup herbicide. Food and Chemical Toxicology
(NaturalNews) Monsanto's infamous Roundup contains the hotly debated compound called glyphosate. This
merciless herbicide is also found in 750 or more U.S. products. An herbicide like this infiltrates the landscape
and accumulates in mammals, especially bone, hindering cellular detoxification along the way.
A destroyer, glyphosate annihilates a plant's building blocks of life, tearing apart amino acids. By disrupting the
"shikimate pathway" in plants and microorganisms, glyphosate creeps inside leaves and stalk, raping natural life
processes. Glyphosate also destroys the beneficial microorganism in the human gut. destroying the human
immune system.
To make matters worse, glyphosate is often mixed with adjuvants - chemical agents that increase glyphosate's
destructive power. It's often mixed with surfactants and foaming agents that allow the liquid to bond to and
penetrate the structures of a plant's leaves. This mass infiltration has created a chemical environment.
Glyphosate's existence welcomes GMOs Glyphosate's mere existence has led scientists to develop Roundup-
Ready seeds which are genetically modified to resist the glyphosate. This has allowed an up-rise in engineered
food, which the human body cannot naturally process. Farmers can now plant the genetically engineered crop
and spray their fields simultaneously with glyphosate. Weeds are expected to die and terminator crops are
engineered to withstand the chemicals. This has led to global food dominance by corporations like Monsanto,
who push their genetically altered food onto Third World countries all under the guise of "feeding world
hunger." Now farmers feel that they must depend on these chemical companies for seed, and are cornered into
using herbicides like glyphosate to have a more productive crop.
The production of glyphosate has led the world down a dark course. The human body was intended to eat
unmodified, natural food. Chemical-laced, genetically engineered science has manufactured a new-agefrontier
of ood that is wiping out small organic farmers from the picture. As science takes a short cut and eradicates the
fields, it globalizes food production. Small organic farmers who work hard to protect the balance of the
ecosystem and purity of food, have felt the squeeze global chemical companies are putting on their ability to
provide whole food. Glyphosate is a danger to the future of organic fanners, who seek an herbicide-free
environment to grow pure and wholesome food. EPA continues to allow higher glyphosate levels on crops
and in humans As if it were working directly for Monsanto and other chemical giants, the EPA continues to
permit more glyphosate into the ecosystem. According to pre-1985 studies, detectable levels of glyphosate in
animals was nearly non-existent. By 1985, glyphosate levels were appearing in animal meat tissue, fat, eggs and
milk. At that point, the EPA assigned an acceptable tolerance level of glyphosate in mammals at 0.5 ppm. The
GPA quickly moved to establish an acceptable daily intake of glyphosate for human consumption. At that time,
they set the ADI at 0.10 mg per kg body weight per day. However, by 1993 this acceptable daily intake had
been renamed to be called a "reference dose" and had gone up to 20 tines the previous daily limit to 2 mg per
kg body weight per day.
How is the EPA to be trusted for safety, as they continue to cater to biotech demands?
According to the nonprofit group, Beyond Pesticides, in May of 2013 the EPA ruled to double allowable limits
for glyphosate in several key crops, increasing the limits for glyphosate exposure to 100 parts per million (ppm)
in crops grown for animal feed, and 40 ppm in oilseed crops. Glyphosate stays in the bone In some of the first
studies in the 90s involving rats, 30-36 percent of glyphosate was passed through the animal's gut wall and into
their bodies. A similar study on hens and goats got likewise results. In the rat study, seven days after the
glyphosate was administered, the remaining glyphosate levels were found in the rats' bones. In a WI IO
publication, "the glyphosate isotope was widely distributed throughout the body, but was primarily found in
bone."
With these findings, it seems that EPA regulators have missed the point. Glyphosate, regardless of what limits
are set, sinks into human organs and accumulates, creating a toxic environment for the human body. The EPA's
"reference dose," is a hoax. A "reference dose" does not take into consideration the long tens accumulation of
glyphosate in a mammal's organs, especially bone. Here's a question: Since bone's major constituent is calcium
phosphate, how might glyphosate, which acts as a fake phosphate in plants, manipulate bone growth?
