Dear Mr. Kanuha and Members of the Hawari County Council:
This letter is in support of Councilman Aaron Chung's grant to the Waiakea High School
PTSA's Project Grad Night.
The purpose of Project Grad Night is to provide the new graduates with a safe, fun, alcohol -
free and drug-free environment to celebrate their high school graduation. The graduates are
able to spend one last exclusive evening together, before everyone goes their separate ways
and enters the next chapter in their lives.
The cost to put on this annual eight-hour event is very high, and we must rely on contributions
to supplement the students' event fees. The PTSA and the Class of 2015 are very grateful for
the generous support from our local community.
Thank you for the opportunity to provide input regarding this resolution.
