SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 28, Draft 2; Proposed Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 2015-2016
For your consideration, below is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 28, Draft 2, regarding the
Operating Budget. This proposed amendment would amend General Fund Expenditures by
removing all funding ($23,200) from Mayor's Entertainment; removing line item No. 5,
Neighborhood Watch Signs, and all funding ($15,000) for that line item from Police Adm Div -
Oce, Educ-Recr-Scientif; and transferring the total of $38,200 into a new line item, Community
Programs, in Civil Defense Age Oce, Misc. Contract Services.
7 he purpose of this amendment is to transfer the funding source for neighborhood watch signs
from the Police Department to the Civil Defense Agency and to provide funding for Community
Emergency Response Teams island -wide.
The following amendment affecting appropriations to the expenditure accounts are reflected
below:
