OF k7 . <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •� �" !_•� STATE OF HAWAII <br /> . ♦j MZ�M?i '. <br /> ,Tl OFN�'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 205 15 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HAWAII STATE ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES <br /> SLATE OF OFFICERS FOR THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES AND <br /> WESTERN INTERSTATE REGION BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR FISCAL YEAR <br /> 2015-2016. <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawai`i State Association of Counties (HSAC) is a nonprofit <br /> corporation comprised of members of the four county councils of the State of Hawai`i; and <br /> WHEREAS, the HSAC Executive Committee at its special executive committee meeting <br /> on May 22, 2015, approved the slate of officers for the National Association of Counties (NACo) <br /> and Western Interstate Region (WIR) Board of Directors for the Fiscal Year 2015 - 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5, Section 5A and Section 5C of the HSAC Bylaws, <br /> each council shall take appropriate action on the proposed slate of officers for HSAC and shall <br /> nominate the NACo and WIR Board of Directors prior to the HSAC annual meeting on <br /> June 24, 2015; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following slate of officers is approved for Fiscal Year 2015-2016: <br /> NACo Board of Directors: KipuKai Kuali`i, Kaua`i County Council <br /> NACo Board of Directors: J. Ikaika Anderson, Honolulu City Council <br /> WIR Board of Directors: Mike White, Maui County Council <br /> WIR Board of Directors: Danny Paleka, Hawai`i County Council <br />
