Paniolo Ave. to Kawaihae Rd. Extension
I strongly support this initiative for multiple reasons.

1. It would provide a more direct route to/from Waimea than We currently have.
2. It would serve as another escape route from the village.
3. It would provide a stimulus for further development in the village. Specifically, the
proposed High School could be. located along that stretch of road; the proposed
recreation center could be incorporated into the High School plan; and, it would be an
ideal location for the proposed bike and running paths By combining these amenities
with the new High School, a huge cost savings would result.
So, it is for these reasons that I strongly support the initiative to extend Paniolo Avenue
to Kawaihae Road.
