Dean County Counsel;
I am writing to request that you vote for Bill 58 that releases funds for a walking park located in Hawaiian
Paradise Park Subdivision in Keaau. As a property owner and resident of HPP subdivision I can tell you how
badly we need this.
We have no sidewalks to safely exercise on and most of our intersections have limited sight clearances which
makes it even more dangerous to walk safely. It would provide a safe place for parents to bring children to
exercise and enjoy nature. And in times of natural emergencies like the hurricane we had last year, it would
provide additional space for first responders to organize.
Please vote for this much needed park.
