Pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), Hawai`i Revised Statutes, as amended, we request
attorney-client confidential discussion in executive session to consult with the County Council
on questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities
regarding the above-entitled matter, a lawsuit filed on January 2, 2014, alleging violations of the
Americans With Disabilities Act. We ask that this case be placed on the Council's July 1, 2015,
agenda to discuss a possible settlement.
