PC-9 July 1, 2015 BILLS FOR ORDINANCES Bill 60: AMENDS SECTION 25-8-22 (PUNA DISTRICT ZONE MAP), ARTICLE 8, CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION), BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM AGRICULTURAL – TWENTY ACRES (A-20a) TO AGRICULTURAL – FIVE ACRES (A-5a) AT ‘ŌLA‘A RESERVATION LOTS, ‘ŌLA‘A, PUNA, HAWAI‘I, COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY: 1-8-005:133 (Applicant: Harry and Sandra Freitas) (Area: Approx. 50 acres) The Windward Planning Commission forwards its unfavorable recommendation for this proposed change of zone due to application deficiencies relating to: (1) minimum water concurrency requirements; (2) Puna Community Development Plan policies discouraging further subdivision of larger agricultural lots through the variance process; (3) General Plan policies requiring adequate water utilities to support an increase in density; and (4) substandard road conditions. The email shall indicate the appropriate Committee or Council meeting, the meeting date, agenda item (communication, bill, resolution, or report number), and number of testifiers on the video Each video submittal shall be limited to a single agenda item submittal. .
