Dr. Leon Bruno, Director of the Lyman House Museum, requests that parking
along Haili Street in front of the museum be restricted to two hours.
The museum is experiencing problems with vehicles parked out front all
day which discourages visitors because of the limited number of parking
stalls available. the Traffic Division met with Dr. Bruno to discuss
these problems, and we conclude a two hour parking restriction will be
the most workable at this time.
We request that the attached proposed bill of the Hawaii County Code,
Chapter. 24, Article 10, Section 24-284, Schedule 32 (Two Hour Parking
Areas) be amended.
A map is attached for your information and use.
