Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement. This agreement is for a copy machine for the
Office of Management(Mayor's Office). Their current copier's lease is expired and the
unit is in constant need of repair. The cost of leasing the new machine will be
approximately $250 per month with cost per black and white copy not to exceed $0.0062
and $0.0696 per color copy.

A. REQUEST:
To enter into a multi-year lease agreement for four (4) years for a copy machine to be located at the Office of
Management.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The lease on the current copier has expired. The present machine is continuously being repaired which
causes many non-operational periods. The Department is anticipating a monthly lease of no more than 48
months at approximately $250 per month.
The cost per copy shall not exceed BW per page rate is $.0062 (current BW monthly average is 6,000)
Color per page rate is $.0696 (current color monthly average is 1,200).
