Chair Ilagan, Vice Chair David and Members of the Committee:
The League of Women Voters of Hawaii County requests careful consideration of Bill 69.
The League is concerned that the changes proposed could have far-reaching consequences countywide.
We request careful consideration of Bill 69 so that adequate time is given to allow public input and professional, technical and legal analysis of the bill's
ramifications.
We commend the Council Chair for not approving a request to fast track Bill 69.
