I see that the agenda for the meeting on 24 July 2015 includes authorization for the Department of Research and Development to award
funds to the County's Four Soil and Water Conservation Districts, including $5o,000 for the Kona District.
I urge you to support this authorization, as the Kona Soil and Water Conservation District has been an invaluable resource for us to
properly manage our 16 -acre avocado orchard in a sustainable way.
Please approve the funding.
