RESOLUTION NO. 241 15
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO REIMBURSE THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS
AND RECREATION FOR THE PURCHASE OF A BANNER.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division,
provides individuals 55 years and older with a variety of special events and programs; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation hosted the Zen Nihon Kenkoh
Ongaku Kenkyukai Summer Festival ("Summer Festival") on July 8, 2015; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed to help defray the costs associated with the Summer
Festival, which included a 3x7 event banner; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to reimburse the purchase of a banner; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
