The purpose of the bill is to prohibit parking along the west side of Railroad Avenue beginning at a point 175 feet north of Kukila Street and extending 474 feet to the south. Your Committee on Public Works has reviewed Bill No. 417 and Communication No. 2449 from Chief Engineer Bruce C. Your Committee also has reviewed Bill No. 417 Draft 2, which was circulated. The Chair stated that the revised bill had been prepared by the Corporation Counsel's office in response to her request for corrections to the content and format of section 1, as follows: 1. Change "section 24-280" to "section 24-280(c)"; 2. Change the plural form "items" to singular form "item"; 3. Insert quotation marks around the item to be placed in the County Code; 4. Delete the period after the closing parenthesis; 5. Change the street name from all capital letters to initial capitals, i.e., change "RAILROAD AVENUE" to "Railroad Avenue".
