Dear Councilmembers:
I am writing in support of Bill 71. The known health impacts of herbicide exposures include cancer promotion
birth defects and developmental concerns, just to name a few.. Since it is our kuleana to protect the health of our
island residents and preserve the integrity of the island for future generations, we are obligated to reduce the use
of these compounds, not promote them.
