You cannot see the honey bees in this photo but by asking the County Road crew to stop spraying along the
shoulder that fronts my home on Royal Poinciana Drive in Kailua-Kona more than 5 years ago, the honey bees
continue to thrive amongst these blossoms overhanging the roadway. We all need to do our part to protect our
fragile environment and banning the use of RoundUp by the county of Hawaii will help in saving our valuable
bees because without our bees we as humans cannot survive.
