Subject: Bill 71
Honorable Council Members -
I am writing to voice my strong support for Bill 71! Back in May many folks, myself included, turned out to express
their concern about toxins being sprayed along our roadways and near our ditch system & water sheds.
At this point I do not think it's necessary to expound upon the risks to our citizens and life support system we know
as our aina. Ample evidence has been made to support good reason to find alternatives controlling weeds! Bill 71
gives us up to year to replace a practice that is based on costs and convenience, but but at a dangerously creeping
expense to all life on our Island.
Please do the right thing and take a firm step forward to protecting our communities from unnecessary poisons
being put into our earth, air and water!
