SUBJECT: Communication No. 184 (Res. 56-99)
Thank you for your memorandum informing me of the meeting schedule to review the
above referenced Communication. Unfortunately, my schedule does conflict with this
date and I personally will not be able to attend this meeting. However, Howard
Nakamura from my department will be available For questions and I would like to
provide the following information regarding this request.
This request is to create an account (Equipment-Computer Equipment & Softwaze)
within the State Grant -Film Promotion Program. This is necessary to facilitate the
purchase of computer equipment for the Big Island Film Office, utilizing State funds
appropriated for Film Promotion on the Big Island. The transfer of $4,000 from the
miscellaneous contractual service account will provide adequate funding to purchase a
computer system and compatible software for the Big Island Film Office.
We appreciate your favorable consideration in this matter.
