Subject: Strong support for Resolution 121-15 land dedication by Parker Ranch to County of Hawaii
Dear Council,
I want to share my strong support of Resolution 121-15 . The land dedication by Parker Ranch of approximately 24 acres
to the County of Hawaii for Waimea District Park will benefit Hawaii County and essentially all its residents and visitors.
The park will save the County money to pay for an alternative park and will benefit the community by increasing access
to both physical and social activity. In addition the partnership between a local business, the community and the County
to address gaps in services is exactly the type of collaboration which will help the county continue to improve. ,
