EMC Aug 4 --support Bill 71-- herbicides
Please support Bill 71 to decrease use of toxic herbicides. Recent public testimony
on the subject offered many alternatives.
Does using herbicides despite evidence of health risks make the County liable? As you know, Kauai citizens
recently won a lawsuit over agricultural dust causing property damage and loss of use and enjoyment of
property. The citizens may go on to pursue the issue of pesticides in the dust.
