ORDINANCE NO. 98 4
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 97-82, AS AMENDED, RELATING
TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR JULY 1, 1997 TO JUNE 30, 1998.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 97-82, as amended, Relating to Public
Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1997 to June 30, 1998,
is hereby amended by adding the following projects:
PUBLIC WORKS
Waiakea Uka Waterline Improvements $2,500,000

Alawaena Street Improvements 50,000
(110-399-5392.84-115)
Kailua-Kona Flood Control Improvements -Phases I & II 1,400,000
(110-296-5296.52-115)
PARKS & RECREATION:
Shipman Park All Purpose Field Improvements -Phase II 50,000
(110-599-5590.20-115)
Keaau Community Center 150,000
(110-599-5590.21-115)
SECTION 2. Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - $4,150,000
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
