COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 284 <br /> i <br /> 1, <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98 104 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98-50, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO <br /> PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, <br /> 1998 TO JUNE 30, 1999. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to reappropriate the lapsed <br /> 1992-94 fuel tax district appropriations. Because the original amounts were established by <br /> formula and to maintain equity, lapsed district funds would be reappropriated back to the <br /> respective districts. <br /> SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 98-50, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof <br /> for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1998 to June 30, 1999, is hereby amended by establishing the <br /> following district appropriations: <br /> DISTRICT AMOUNTS <br /> Puna $ 29,861.80 <br /> South Hilo 266,861.34 <br /> North Kona 189,754.32 <br /> $486,477.46 <br /> Allotments from these district appropriations shall be made to the specific projects listed on <br /> the attached Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 3. Funds for these projects shall be provided from the Fund Balance-Fuel Tax 92- <br /> 94 Account [2271.24] of the Capital Projects Fund. <br /> SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect <br /> other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid <br /> provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be <br /> severable. <br /> SECTION 5.
