COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 283 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98 103 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98-50, AS AMENDED, <br /> RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR <br /> THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1998 TO JUNE 30, 1999. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to reappropriate <br /> the lapsed 1994-96 fuel tax district appropriations. Because the original <br /> amounts were established by formula and to maintain equity, lapsed district <br /> funds would be reappropriated back to the respective districts. <br /> SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 98-50, Relating to Public Improvements and <br /> Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1998 to June 30, 1999, is hereby <br /> amended by establishing the following district appropriations: <br /> DISTRICT AMOUNT <br /> South Hilo $16,779.72 <br /> Allotment from this district appropriation shall be made to the specific project <br /> listed on the attached Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 3. Funds for this project shall be provided from the Fund <br /> Balance - Fuel Tax 94-96 Account [2271.25] of the Capital Projects Fund. <br /> SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid, such <br /> invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which <br /> can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, <br /> the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> SECTION 5.
