HomeMy WebLinkAboutBIL 283 Draft 01 1996-1998 COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 283 ORDINANCE NO. 98 103 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98-50, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1998 TO JUNE 30, 1999. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to reappropriate the lapsed 1994-96 fuel tax district appropriations. Because the original amounts were established by formula and to maintain equity, lapsed district funds would be reappropriated back to the respective districts. SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 98-50, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1998 to June 30, 1999, is hereby amended by establishing the following district appropriations: DISTRICT AMOUNT South Hilo $16,779.72 Allotment from this district appropriation shall be made to the specific project listed on the attached Exhibit A. SECTION 3. Funds for this project shall be provided from the Fund Balance - Fuel Tax 94-96 Account [2271.25] of the Capital Projects Fund. SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
