Aloha Donor,
Hawaii Island Pride is proud to announce the 3rd Annual LGBT Pride Parade and Festival to be
held on September 19, 2015 in Hilo. The celebration will begin with a parade, followed by a
festival in the Mo'oheau Bandstand and Park. The festival will feature live entertainment, food,
crafts from local merchants, as well as informational booths from community groups. This is a
family friendly event with activities and fun for all ages!
The time has arrived again for the Pride Parade & Festival here in Hilo, but your help is
needed. Our goal is to raise $8,500.00. These funds will be used to defray permit fees and other
costs associated with staging this event. Our first two years saw attendance of over 6,000
spectators and we would love to continue to bring Hilo its most "colorful" event of the year. Our
volunteer committee is working hard to make this event a success and with your help we will
succeed!
This Parade & Festival needs your business's financial support and participation! In return
for your donation, you will be listed in our official Pride Program, donations over 1000.00 will be
featured on all advertising(posters ,fliers, t -shirts and radio)you will also acknowledged during our
Parade & Festival.
Please complete the enclosed sponsorship form and return it, along with your contribution, in the
enclosed self-addressed envelope. Checks should be made payable to Hawaii LGBT Legacy
Foundation., make sure to put Hawaii Island Pride in the memo area. We invite your company
to have an entry in our parade and/or a booth at our festival. You will find the forms to become a
vendor or parade participant on our website Hawaiiislandpride.org
