Subject: Please pass Resolutions 266-15 and 267-15
Dear Councilmembers,
These resolutions propose amending the Constitution to address the dangerous consequences of recent Supreme
Court rulings that have given corporations the constitutional rights of people and have equated unlimited
campaign spending with free speech. This has permitted "big money" donors to drown out the voices of our
citizens. It puts our elected officials at serious risk of putting the interests of corporate donors above that of the
voters. Please pass Resolutions 266-15 and 267-15 to strengthen the democratic process
