ORDINANCE NO. 99 14
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 (TRAFFIC SCHEDULE), OF THE
HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO TRAFFIC
REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-281, Schedule 29
(Parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets; tow-away zone),
Subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code (1995 Edition), is amended by
deleting the following item:
"[(12) That unnamed roadway serving Costco, located .4 mile mauka of the
Queen Kaahumanu Highway and running parallel to Kanalani Street,
Kaloko Light Industrial Subdivision, from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.]"
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-281, Schedule 29
(Parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets; tow-away zone),
Subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code (1995 Edition), is amended by
adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
Kamanu Street Kaloko Light Industrial Subdivision, from 10:00 p.m.
to 5:00 a.m."
SECTION 3. A map of the area showing the affected street is attached as
Exhibit A.
SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is
underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and
underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 5. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to
any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other
provisions or application of the ordinance which can be given effect without the
invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
