The grant funds will be • <br /> used to purchase additional sporting equipment for the East and West side of the Island to <br /> facilitate various sporting events. In the current fiscal year's budget, $18,000 is <br /> appropriated for this grant. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the <br /> additional funds into the HCPD Click It Or Ticket program account, and bringing the <br /> total grant appropriation to $18,500. <br /> The Police Department is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee <br /> review, and be placed on the October 7, 2015 Council Agenda in order expedite the <br /> receipt of these funds.
