RESOLUTION NO. 308 15
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE MATERIALS FOR REPAIRS TO
THE COOPER CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has identified the need to make
necessary repairs to the Cooper Center; and
WHEREAS,the Cooper Center serves as a facility for various community functions,
meetings, events, weekly farmers' market, and the site of Volunteer Fire Station 19A, manned by
volunteers; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase necessary materials and supplies to perform
the much needed repairs and improvements to the center, which will benefit the community and
the general public who utilize the facility; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
