These federally-derived funds of$360,000 <br /> will be used to purchase specialized equipment to enhance the capability of state and <br /> county agencies to prevent and respond to incidents of terrorism and other hazards. <br /> $400,000 has already been appropriated for this grant. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating an <br /> additional $360,000 to the Department's State Homeland Security Program for FY 2015 <br /> account, bringing the total grant appropriation to $760,000. <br /> If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Darryl Oliveira, Civil Defense <br /> Administrator at 935-0031. <br /> Deanna S.
