The grant funds will be used to <br /> allow key staff within the Planning Department attend Complete Streets training. In the <br /> current fiscal year's budget, $7,500 has been appropriated for this grant. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the <br /> additional funds into the DOH Clean Streets program account, and bringing the total <br /> grant appropriation to $42,500. <br /> The Planning Department is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance <br /> Committee review, and be placed on the October 21, 2015 Council Agenda in order to <br /> expedite the receipt of these funds.
