Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation,to which was referred
Resolution No. 312-15, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 312-15,transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Renee Schoen, via
Communication No. 515 dated September 28, 2015, authorizes the acceptance of the donation of
Lot 45, situated at Kaiwiki, District of South Hilo, Island of Hawai`i, and State of Hawai`i, being a
portion of Tax Map Key: 2-9-004:014 (por.), from Kahuna Falls, LLC, DBA Kahuna Falls of
Maryland, LLC.
The donation would remedy a County paved road encroaching onto private property.
During the meeting, Resolution No. 312-15 was amended with the contents of Communication
No. 515.1, transmitted by Vice Chair Poindexter, dated November 3, 2015. Your Committee
approved the amendment unanimously.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and intent
of Resolution No. 312-15, as amended to Draft 2, and recommends its adoption.
