Re: Resolution No. 268-15, Draft 3; A Resolution enlisting the County of Hawai`i in
the Stepping Up Initiative to reduce the recidivism of persons with mental
illnesses who are charged with nonviolent offenses in Hawai`i Community
Correctional Center.
Attached is Resolution No. 268-15, as amended to Draft 3 with the contents of Communication
No. 448.7, on November 3, 2015,by the Council.
The Council suspended its rule (Rule No. 24(1)(e)) requiring the holdover of a substantively
amended resolution and adopted Resolution No. 268-15, as amended to Draft 3.
The Council suspended its rule (Rule No. 15(2))requiring a five-day holdover for
reconsideration.
