SUBJECT: A Resolution Urging the Hawai`i State Legislature to Amend Act 241,
Relating to Medical Marijuana, to Establish a County Sales Tax on Medical
Marijuana Sold at Dispensaries
Attached is a resolution urging the Hawai`i State Legislature to amend Act 241, relating to
medical marijuana, to establish a county sales tax on medical marijuana sold at dispensaries.
I am requesting this resolution be placed on the appropriate November 17, 2015, Committee
agenda.
