SUBJECT: Additional Bus Stop Request to Mass Transit
I request 20 minutes to allow for discussion with the Mass Transit Agency Administrator,
Tiffany Kai regarding the feasibility of a designated bus stop at 1990 Kino`ole Street, Kino`ole
Plaza-Big Island Workplace Connection, allowing the community access to the following:
❖ Department of Human Services-Benefit, Employment, and Support Services Division-
East Hawai`i Central Hilo 1 Unit
❖ Office of Housing and Community Development- Section 8 Division
❖ Department of Labor & Industrial Relations
• Workforce Development Division
• Unemployment Insurance Benefits
❖ Hilo Rice Noodle & Kawate Seed Shop
❖ Kino`ole Farmer's Market (Saturdays)
❖ Hilo Style Salon
❖ Near: Pacific Baptist Church, Living Waters Assembly of God, Kino`ole Senior
Residences
