RESOLUTION NO. 345 15
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE PIPE GATES FOR THE PETTING
ZOO AT THE PANA`EWA RAINFOREST ZOO AND GARDENS.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has requested funds to purchase
pipe gates for the petting zoo at the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo and Gardens; and
WHEREAS, new pipe gates are needed for the animal stalls to replace the existing gates
that are deteriorating; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used towards the purchase of pipe gates; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

CREDITED TO:
010.500.5523.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $4,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
