RESOLUTION NO. 346 15
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PA`AUILO COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS
CELEBRATION.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, has
identified the need for funds to provide a Christmas celebration for the Pa'auilo community to be
held at the Pa'auilo Park gymnasium; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawai`i believes that providing the community a place to
come together to celebrate Christmas will foster a sense of goodwill and provide companionship
for those in need during this holiday season; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, for miscellaneous expenses
associated with a Christmas celebration for the Pa'auilo community; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
