I Disagree and Do Not Support the proposed County of Hawaii Resolution 339-15, attached to impose a County Sales tax on medical marijuana sold at Dispensaries. As you are aware, Hawaii Island has one of the largest number of patients needing medical marijuana. The earnings of a majority of these people is very low. I believe. having a County Sales tax would hinder or keep many of these patients access to their medicine. In addition, higher costs could contribute to some people resorting to obtaining medical marijuana on the Black Market. Please Do Not Support this Resolution. COMM. No. Ref. to: Ref.
