ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS Res. 337-15: RELATES TO A COUNCIL INITIATED IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO FACILITATE CONSTRUCTION OF PERMANENT IMPROVEMENTS TO THE NĀLANI STREET SUBDIVISION, AT HŌLUALOA 4, NORTH KONA, HAWAI‘I, INCLUDING IMPROVEMENT OF THE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM TO COUNTY STANDARDS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 12 OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED) RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS BY ASSESSMENTS Directs the Manager-Chief Engineer of the Department of Water Supply to prepare and submit a report containing information outlined in Chapter 12, of the Hawai‘i Code, to initiate the establishment of a water system improvement district for the Nālani Street Subdivision. Page 2 FC-20 December 1, 2015 BILLS FOR ORDINANCES Bill 101: INITIATES AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE XIV, SECTION 14-5 OF THE (Draft 2) HAWAIʻI COUNTY CHARTER (2014), RELATING TO THE BOARD OF ETHICS The amendments would: 1) increase membership from five to nine members; 2) decrease member’s term from five to four years; 3) add council district residency requirements; and 4) allow each council member to nominate two persons from his or her council district to serve on the board, from which one would be appointed by the mayor, subject to confirmation by the Council. Reference: Comm. 494.4 Intr. by: Ms. Wille Postponed: October 20 and November 17, 2015 (Note: There is a motion by Ms. Wille and seconded by Mr. Onishi to recommend passage of Bill 101, as amended, on first reading.)
