Subject: Resolution 326-15 Authorizing negotiations for Halelua
Council Members,
My name is Susan Grant. I am a long time resident of North Kohala. I support Resolution 326-15 calling for the County to
begin negotiations to purchase the costal lands at Halelua. I have hiked along this coast for years and feel if these lands
were public many others in the community could benefit and learn of the cultural and historical significance. It would
also benefit those of the local community who fish and surf in these waters.
