Dear Council Members:
My name is David Eichner, and I am a 25 year resident of Niulii in North Kohala. I support Resolution 327-15 calling for
the County to begin the negotiations to purchase the coastal lands from Hapu'u to Kapanaia Cultural Corridor. I have
hiked many times along this coast and I feel if these lands were pubic, many others in the community could benefit and
learn of the cultural and historical significance. I feel it would also greatly benefit those of our local community who.fish
and surf in these waters.
