Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 119,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 119, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H.W. Lee, via Comm. No. 588 dated
October 15, 2015, amends Chapter 24 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), relating
to Vehicles and Traffic.
The bill adds portions of the West Hawai`i Civic Center's public parking area to Article 10,
Division 5, Section 24-284 (Two hour parking areas), Subsection (f), Kona.
During the meeting, Bill No. 119 was amended by Council Member Poindexter to correct
"(1995 Edition)"to "(2005 Edition)" in the title and first paragraph.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill No. 119, as amended to Draft 2, and recommends its passage on first reading.
