It is my pleasure to nominate Ms. Amy A. Bircher of Council District 8 to the County of Hawai'i
Transportation Commission. Ms. Bircher is a 28-year resident of Hawai'i. She is presently the
Office Manager of Lanihau Properties, LLC.
Ms. Bircher is a board member and treasurer of Habitat for Humanity, West Hawai'i. She states
that she is a Democrat. If confirmed, Ms. Bircher will serve a vacant term to end on
December 31, 2020.
