Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 610, reports as follows:
Communication No. 610, submitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi dated December 15, 2015, nominates
Theresa K. Donham of Council District 5 to the Cultural Resources Commission for a term to expire
December 31, 2020.
Charmaine Shigemura, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kenoi, introduced Ms. Donham, who expressed
her willingness to help the commission. Mr. Paleka, Ms. David, Mr. Kanuha, Ms. Eoff, and Mr. Ilagan
all spoke in favor of Ms. Donham and her contributions as an archaeologist to the commission.
Ms. Donham was informed that she is not required to be present for Council confirmation.
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Communication No. 610, and
recommends confirmation of the appointment of Theresa K. Donham to the Cultural Resources
Commission.
