COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 394 16
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION
OF ONE (1) ICE MACHINE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION
WHEREAS, the Isemoto Contracting Company, Ltd., is donating one (1) ice
machine to the Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, this ice machine will be utilized in the Butler Building at the
Ho'olulu Complex Facility; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides
that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money,
securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate,
and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawai`i County Code states that
any gifts or donations of money, securities, or personal property which fall within the
capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted by
resolution approved by the Council; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the
acceptance of this donation; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, and
Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawai'i County Code, the Council of the
County of Hawaii accepts this donation.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this
resolution be sent to the Isemoto Contracting Company, Ltd., 648 Pi`ilani Street, Hilo,
Hawaii 96720 acknowledging this generous donation.
