Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting the donation of an ice machine, with a total value of
$8,292.99 to the Department of Parks and Recreation. This donation, from the Isemoto
Contracting Company, Ltd., 648 Pi`ilani Street will be used in the Butler Building in the
Ho'olulu Complex Facility.

A. REQUEST:
To accept the donation of a Hoshizaki Ice Machine (Model #KM650MAH) from the Isemoto Contract Co.
Ltd, 648 Piilani Street, Hilo. This ice machine shall be utilized in the Butler Building at the Hoolulu Complex
Facility. The value of the ice machine is $8,292.99.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Isemoto Contract Co. Ltd, 648 Piilani Street, Hilo, is donating a Hoshizaki Ice Machine (Model
#KM650MAH) for the Recreation Division use. It will be utilized for the various recreation events and
programs and for use at the baseyard.

RE: Resolution No. 394-16 ; RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A
DONATION OF ONE (1) ICE MACHINE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawai`i, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing
this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and
the matter be placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request
is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on
Finance for placement on its future agenda.
