Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 636, reports as follows:
Communication No. 636, submitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi dated January 8, 2016, nominates
Charles R. Cartwright to the Kailua Village Design Commission to serve the remainder of a three-year
term to expire on December 31, 2017.
Mr. Cartwright was introduced by Char Shigemura, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kenoi.
Mr. Cartwright expressed appreciation for the nomination.
Mr. Kanuha stated he fully supports the nomination. Ms. Eoff said Mr. Cartwright's experience will be a
big help.
Mr. Cartwright was informed that he is not required to be present for Council confirmation.
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Communication No. 636, and
recommends confirmation of the appointment of Charles R. Cartwright to the Kailua Village Design
Commission.
