RESOLUTION IVO. 423 16
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE MATERIALS FOR REPAIRS TO
THE OCEAN VIEW FIRE STATION NO. 20.
WHEREAS, the Ocean View Station No. 20 services all areas South of South Point
Road and Highway 11 intersection (excluding those communities, subdivisions. and
developments accessed from South Point Road) to the 93 mile marker of Highway 11 and the
area of the "Third Lava Flow": and
WHEREAS, certain repairs and maintenance of equipment are necessary to be made to
the 30,000 gallon water tank, the apparatus bay roll -up door, and installation of an electrical
hook-up for its portable generator; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to
the Hawaii Fire Department for the Ocean View Fire Station No. 20 to perform needed repairs
and maintenance to ensure the health and safety of fire personnel and the surrounding
communities; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Fire Chief and Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
