Re: Dedication Deeds
Trustees of Liliuokalani Trust and Maryl Development, Inc.
Tax Map Keys : (3) 7-4-08 : 001 (por . ) , 7-5-04 : 019 , 043 and
054 (por. )
We are transmitting for the Council ' s review and consideration
a resolution authorizing the acceptance of the dedication of roadway
lots from the Trustees of the Liliuokalani Trust and Maryl
Development, Inc.
We ask that this matter be waived from committee in order that
it may be heard on the same day as the resolution for the
condemnation of the Rapoza triangle (TMK: (3)7-5-03 : Por . 021) ,
which is an integral part of the Henry Street dedication.
For your information, the deed has been reviewed by the
Department of Public Works, Department of Water Supply and the
Planning Department and all have recommended acceptance of the
dedication deeds . All subdivision improvements have been completed.
Upon acceptance of the above dedication deeds, please send
notification of such acceptance to : (1) Steven S.C. Lim, Esq. ,
Carlsmith, Ball, Wichman, Case & Ichiki , 121 Waianuenue Avenue,
Hilo, Hawaii 96720; (2) Harry Takahashi , Director of Finance, County
of Hawaii; and (3) Gerald Takase, Deputy Corporation Counsel, County
of Hawaii , who will send the deeds for recording with the Bureau of
Conveyances .

Pursuant to Section 1(d) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of
the Council of the County of Hawaii, this written approval is
submitted in regards to Communication 904 (Reso 246) for waiving
said referral from the Human Services/Public Works Committee so
that appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed
advisable that such waiver be granted.
