Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 143,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 143, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H.W. Lee, via Communication
No. 677 dated January 8, 2016, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, of the Hawaii
County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), relating to parking.
The bill amends Section 24-280 (No parking any time), by adding a portion of Highway 190
(Mamalahoa Highway near Lindsey Road), to Subsection(e), Kohala.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill No. 143, and recommends its passage on first reading.
